Saturday Prayer (08Jun19)

Dear Most gracious and heavenly Father, Lord, we come to you on this Saturday, once again, to give you thanks for all that you have done for us. We thank you for helping us to get through yet another week. Despite whatever challenges we may have faced, we know that it would have been impossible for us to weather through them if it had not been for you. For that, we give you thanks. Lord, we ask that you forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness regarding any sins that we have committed both knowingly and unknowingly – willfully and unwilfully. We are only sinners saved by grace, but we never want to take for granted the love, grace, and mercy that you show to us daily.

Lord, there are some of us who are going through health and medical challenges, so we ask that you will be our Jehovah Rophe (Lord who heals) and perform all procedures that the human hands cannot do and guide the doctors as they work under your watchful eye. We pray for our Sister who is having knee surgery, and that you will clear up all pre-existing conditions that would threaten to interfere with its success. We pray that there are no issues after the procedure is done and that her limbs will operate pain-free to its full capacity. We also pray for our other sister who has been in a lot of pain over the last couple of weeks and that any nerves that may not be operating correctly will be healed in Jesus’ name. We pray that the doctors will have divine revelation to give them extraordinary wisdom and revelation that may not have come in their textbooks and training. We pray for others who are having various pains, fatigue, insomnia, depression, mental fogginess, cancer, and other health ailments to be healed and completely restored to optimal health. Our days are just a few on this earth, but while we are travelers passing through, we pray for your divine protection and healing.

Father, we pray for those who have lost loved ones unexpectedly and are feeling a little loss and discouraged at this time. We pray for them to experience the realness of your love, comfort and security in their lives. We pray that their feelings of emptiness will be filled with your presence, their sadness be filled with your joy, and their questions be answered through your Word. You love your children with an everlasting love, so we pray that they will never doubt your great care for them, but will continue to believe in the great hope that one day, all sadness will come to an end.

Lord we pray for our military service men and women. We pray that you will be an armor of protection for them. We pray for our leaders and that your will be done as it is in Heaven. We pray for the church to awaken out of its slumber, and that we as your body will do the work that you have called for us to do without any thoughts to financial gain, popularity, fame, or pressure. We pray for the lost and that they will come to the knowledge of who you are. We pray against the sins of the nation, for they are so many, and we know that much of what we are seeing in floods, weather, crops, earthquakes, hurricanes and other disasters are because of your judgments upon the face of the earth. We know that you warn to get our attention, but we are too often caught up in the things of this world to see the warnings for what they are.

Lord, we pray for your soon return, but until such time, we ask that you help us to be the vessels that you have called for us to be. We pray that you will use us and help us to usher lost souls to you. We ask all these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
