SURRENDER

SURRENDER

This should be everyone's prayer to God.

Lord, I surrender my complete self to you.
I put aside any selfish pride so that you may use me completely.
I am so unworthy for you called me out of a world of sin.
You chose me when I didn’t want to be chosen and patiently waited for me.
Lord, You loved me when I didn’t deserve to even be in Your presence.
You only required that I accept You and surrender my all.
What do I possibly have that I could give you in return?
I truly love You Lord and I am a willing vessel for You to use.
My heart desires to please You in all that I do.
I know that I constantly fall short, but You are there to cheer me on.
You have asked so little of me compared to what You have given me.
I bow my head and lift my hands in total surrender of my will.
My mind can only grasp a glimpse of who You really are.
You are the Pure Life Force and to You none can compare.
God, You are the source of my waking and my rest.
I fall at Your might for You are amazing to behold.
Please accept my life as a total commitment to honor and serve you.
Give me Your precious anointing and let others see You in me.
Fill me with your spirit and give me the humility to follow you.
I completely surrender myself to You, Lord.

The Archived Message

There’s a sermon that is hardly preached and many pastors act like they don’t want you to know.
It’s a secret as many call the rapture and if you probably think about it, you’ll agree it’s so.

A topic you can maybe count on one hand if you have even heard it preached even at all.
The only time many hear snippets of it is at a funeral or home-going service, but most can’t even recall.

This subject should be taught regularly, but many pastors stay away from its use.
Too busy trying to get bigger offering plates and in many ways that’s spiritual abuse.

They forget they are supposed to teach the people the details in the Bible of Christ’s return.
Too busy building mega campuses for the prestige and having people sign pledges for more than they actually earn.

Money is the theme topic for some pastors and they use the Bible to say Jesus spoke on this most.
But Jesus was trying to save souls for His later return so He left to prepare them for the Holy Ghost.

Jesus came to save the world from a life of loss that was guaranteed if not for the blood.
He is coming back again to take us on to glory so preachers stop letting His name be dragged through the mud.

If all people see is that you are just wanting to become larger and have a big name,
What happens to their souls when they look at you as a pimp taking from the poor? Oh what a shame!

Yes, Jesus is coming back and we must be ready for whenever He does.
He is till the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the I Am that I Am and not the He was.

Jesus is preparing a place for us so that He can rapture us, but we don’t know when.
He wants us to be ready because Heaven is a wonder place and there will be no more sin.

So pastors please take this message out of the archives and teach it as often as it should be taught.
Stop placing more emphasis on what’s in the envelope because Salvation was already paid and can never be bought.

God’s Introduction to Giving

God’s Introduction to Giving

Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (ESV)

Since the beginning of man’s creation, God has been giving selflessly to His creatures. He began with making man from the dust of the ground and giving to him the breath of life. Genesis 2:7 Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (NIV) Man was able to function in accordance to God’s design by receiving a gift that could not have been given from anyone else but his Creator. Without the gift of life, man would have been an empty vessel on display – unmovable, unusable, and unsuitable for any purpose and yet, just one breath from God made all the difference in the world.

God’s giving to mankind did not stop there – once man sinned, God promised to send His son as a gift to the world to save him from his sins. All man needed to do was to repent and accept God’s free gift of salvation and redemption would be granted. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV) There was nothing that man could do to save himself. No amount of money could compensate his debt to God, but Jesus was willing to pay the price of sin for you and me in order that we may have eternal life.

If the debt of sin has already been paid for on the cross, why is it that so many Christian leaders place a high emphasis on paying tithes? Does God curse us for something that has already been paid for? Is it true that a person’s money is cursed if tithes are not paid out of every paycheck? Do we as Christians have a financial obligation to report our earnings to our local house of worship so they can keep record of our giving? Do we have to sign promissory pledges, give first fruits, seed offerings, and give extra money to pastors after they have preached a powerful sermon?

As Christians, we are to do good deeds to others in order to show them the love of Jesus. Unfortunately, many Christians are erroneously placed under bondage to the traditions and false teachings of men for personal gain. They are made to feel that they are cursed and/or blessed by God dependent upon what they place in an envelope. God, however, is neither a genie nor lottery machine that gives wishes or jackpots at will. God does love for us to give and in so doing, He is all too willing to bless us in return, but we must separate truth from fiction. We are not to attempt to manipulate God nor His people with money because He does not need it, but His ministry does. May God bless you as you gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding as given from the Holy Spirit in order to be free in Christ, independent of guilt-ridden manmade ideologies, by coming to the revelation that giving is to be a blessing and not a curse.
