To the HOMOSEXUAL and TRANSGENDER, the Potter loves you

Genesis 2:21-24 ⁽²¹⁾So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. ⁽²²⁾Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. ⁽²³⁾The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” ⁽²⁴⁾That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they became one flesh. (NIV)

            Let’s first establish the validity of the Word of God before we dig into this subject of homosexuality and transgenderism. Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (NIV) God is the Word and the Word is God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (NIV) Therefore, because the Word of God is who He is, God does not change His mind, but holds true to His word because He never changes.

There were, however, ceremonial laws that were in force prior to Jesus’ arrival, which were required to be obeyed such as sacrifices, festivals, certain religious days of observance, burnt offerings and more that were done away with at the cross. Jesus became our Redeemer, High Priest, Savior, Advocate and all that we need, so that the temporary ceremonial laws could be abolished and Salvation was to be given through Him alone. John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (NIV) Salvation is given freely through the acceptance of Jesus Christ, but God still has a standard of living for all people. If this weren’t the case, no one would ever be in danger of spending an eternity in HELL. Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (NIV) Therefore, we do not have an automatic right to live contrary to the laws of God. It will land us in hell if we do not obey the guidelines that He has for our lives. Now that we’ve established that God’s word is true, unchanging and there are consequences to sin, let’s dig into the matter of homosexuality and transgenderism.

In the beginning, God created both male and female. He created them with obvious differences between the two sexes for Adam knew that Eve was not made exactly like him, while they were both made in the image of God. Some people use this to say that God has no gender, but the Bible is clear as to the pronouns used that God is a male. Genesis 26:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (NIV) We can go further and say that God is the one who established the pronouns as they relate to the sexes of male and female; man and woman; he and she; him and her. Therefore, what God establishes, no one has the authority to undo for the mere sake of political correctness.

God made it where males and females have two different types of chromosomes that determines their deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Males are born with xy chromosomes and females xx chromosomes. Therefore, God intentionally did this so that there would be a difference in the makeup of the sexes. Scientists were later able to see what God had done regardless of their acknowledgment of Him or not in understanding the makeup of the human body. Unfortunately, humans have decided that they want to change God’s original design and tamper with what He made to suit their own diabolical purposes. Because of man’s desire to go against the things of God, He turns them over to a mindset of rebellion and allow them to follow their own path. Romans 1:26-28 ⁽²⁶⁾Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. ⁽²⁷⁾In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty of their error. ⁽²⁸⁾Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (NIV)

The world has decided that it no longer wants to follow the laws of God. It wants to redesign God’s original plan for humanity. The world says that men can have intimate relationships with other men and women can do the same with other women. However, this is wrong and is sinful in the eyes of God and those who are disobedient to God will NOT inherit eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:9-11 ⁽⁹⁾We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for the lawbreakers and rebels; the ungodly and sinful; the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,⁽¹⁰⁾for the sexually immoral,, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers – and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine ⁽¹¹⁾that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. (NIV) Most people agree with adultery, fornication, and even pedophile as being a sin, but there is a disagreement even within the “church” as to homosexuality being wrong despite it being crystal clear in the Word of God.

Those who dare to speak against this act that God considers and abomination are classified as being bigots and homophobes. Nevertheless, God’s word still stands regardless of what is considered as “changing” times or seasons. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction. (NIV) The Apostle Paul was telling Timothy that the Word of God is constant regardless of popularity or not. Clothes change with the four seasons, but God’s word never changes. Sin is still sin and will land you in hell.

When God created man, he gave men certain parts that were suited to enter that of the female body with whom he was married to for pleasure and procreation. Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (NIV) The male carries the seed of life and the seed is incubated inside of the woman for nine months until delivery. For the sake of time, we cannot go in-depth into the inner workings of the male and female anatomy with regards to how God was intentional with His design. What we will say is that the devil has made it his mission from the beginning of time to corrupt everything that God created as good. Homosexuality and transgenderism is such a corruption. Nevertheless, the Potter loves you if you are involved in this type of sin.

The Potter did not make a mistake when He created you. If you were born a male, the Potter knew who you were going to be before the beginning of time. If you were born a female, the Potter created you as such because that’s what HE wanted you to be. We cannot tell the Potter that He made a mistake in determining our sex because we are unhappy with it. Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say ‘The Potter has no hands?’ ” (NIV) He’s the Potter, Creator and Designer; therefore, He gets to say who and what we become. No one gets to be God and for those who think that they can, they will find out how huge of a mistake that it was they made. The Potter loves you for exactly what HE created you to be. Therefore, if you are living as a homosexual and/or transgender, it is time for you to repent and turn around.

The Potter wants you to be saved, but you will miss your appointment with Him if you do not turn around. No one who partakes in ANY type of sexual immorality will make it into the Kingdom rather it be homosexuality, fornication, adultery, pornography, pedophilia, or the likes.  1 John 5:18-19 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. (NIV) If you were born a male, you will not enter Heaven as a female; if you were born a female, you will not enter Heaven as a male. Sin cannot exist in the presence of God. The Potter loves you and He wants what’s best for you. That best involves following the laws of nature as HE made them and to not allow a sinful world to dictate what is right and wrong according to their distorted vision. Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (NIV) Allow the Potter to clean your life and restore you to the person that He created you to be.
