The day was
dark, while on the cross.
The pain
unbearable, the torment was cruel.
They laughed
and mocked while He cried to Me;
The sun took
shelter; all heaven was still.
I bowed My
head, for it broke My heart.
He was in
pain, his hands and feet were nailed.
He was My
Son. He’d done no wrong.
they laid palms down.
The people
cheered, and sang Hosanna.
He bore your
sins, so you could live.
He saved the
loss, upon on the cross.
He paid the
price, to set you free.
Now this old
world has gone to hell.
Can’t
mention My name, or even make claim,
That you’re
a Christian, might offend someone.
To stand up
for right, now it’s a legal fight.
The government’s lost track, of right and wrong.
Marriage is
to one man, now two they condone.
No prayer in
public, or none in school.
You steal
from Me, and take what’s Mine.
Cry out to
Me, when you have no dime.
Always too
busy, to read My word,
You sing and
shout that the message was good.
But how many
souls, you tell in the hood?
I am coming
back as I said I would.
Are the
souls ready, was the invitation even sent?
There’s war
all around; the earth’s a mess.
Islam’s on
the rise, no virgins’ your prize.
I am the
Way, I’m the only Way.
Go spread
the word, My coming is soon.
It won’t be
long; the time is near.
People
everywhere are dying and politicians are lying.
Peace is
what they claim, but war will always remain.
Wake up My
church! The time is near!
My coming is
soon, I will appear.
Tell those
you know, look at the signs.
I sent My
son, to set you free.
You’ve
gotten too lazy, to stand for Me.
Open up your
mouth and speak My truth!
Who stole My
Jesus?
