SATURDAY PRAYER – (28DEC19) Our most Dear and
Gracious Father, We come to you this last Saturday on our Gregorian calendar to
say thank you for carrying us through another year. We cannot thank you enough
for all that you have done. Lord, thank you for our Read-the-Bible-in-a-Year
group and the wonderful strides that they made to stay connected to you during
this year. Please bless each and every one of them in their walk with you and
allow them to continue in their journey with you. Lord, please be with their spouses,
children, grandchildren, friends, extended family and loved ones. We ask that
you will save the ones who are not connected to you, strengthen the ones who
are, and give them the encouragement to persevere no matter what fiery darts
from the enemy that may come their way.
Lord, we ask that you will forgive us of all of our
trespasses and help us to be more like you in all that we do. We pray for those
who are being persecuted for your Name’s sake. We ask that you will be with the
families of the martyred. We know that the suffering of those who lost their lives
are now over, but we ask that you will continue to be with those who are left
behind as a witness of your love for them.
We ask that you will be with those who are sick with asthma, cancer, fibroids, depression, soundness of mind, and those who are in hospital
rooms, nursing homes, mental-health facilities, and on hospice. We pray for the
healing of their minds, bodies and souls. We pray that every health ailment
they have will be healed and that no residue of their affliction will be left
behind. We ask for your healing touch in marriages, family relationships,
friendships, and with co-workers. We pray that you will mend every fence that
is broken and meet every need in your children’s lives.
Lord, we pray for the millions of people around the world
who are lost. We ask that you will help us to be a light unto them and that
they will be receptive to your voice. We pray against the deceivers of the
world who would try to stop those who would turn their hearts to you. We ask
for you to deliver the children who are being abused, those who are in sex trafficking,
the innocents caught up in satanic cults, and expose all who would do harm to
your little ones.
We pray against the murder of the innocent, redefinition of
male and female genders, normalization
of sexual abominations, addictions of every kind, and the goal in the destruction
of the family’s role in society. There are demonic forces aimed at destroying
your true design in every form it manifests, and we ask that you will put an
end to the devil and his demonic host. We ask that you will forgive us as a
nation for all the sin and debauchery that we have committed before you. Even
in our silence, we have by proxy signed off on such wickedness.
Lord, there is so much that we could say, but we ask that
you will help us to be the church in every sense of the word and that our light
will be made bright because of you in our increasingly dark world. We pray that
we are ready when you return and that you will find us busily working in
accordance to your will at your soon return. We ask for all of these things in
your Son’s name, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
