SATURDAY PRAYER – (14DEC19) Our Dear Heavenly
Father, we come to you this day to say, “Thank You,” for all that you have done
for us. We are grateful for your loving kindness that you have shown to us even
when we have failed you. We thank you for the grace you have given to us so
that we can be saved through no works of our own, but through our total belief
and submission to you. We thank you for paying the debt that we would not have
been able to make good on by sending Jesus to die for our sins. We thank you
Jesus for being willing to give your life so that we may have eternity with
you. We thank you for your Holy Spirit whom you allow to dwell on the inside of
us to convict, give wisdom, knowledge and understanding into the things of you.
Although we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity, your love covers our multitude
of sins and your grace abounds in us, for which we are grateful.
Lord, we pray that you will forgive us from all the sins we
have committed to include our thoughts, actions and deeds that were displeasing
to you. We ask that you will clean us up and make us anew. We fail miserably
but you said in your Word that a righteous man falls seven times but gets back
up again. So, we pray that you will help us when we fall short and lead us back
towards the right path.
We pray for those who are sick and in need of your healing
touch. We ask that you will be their Great Physician and restore them back to
optimum health. We also pray for those who may be on hospice, life support, and
are near death’s door in hospital rooms and long-care facilities. We pray that
you will be with the families who are dealing with the transition. We ask that
those who may not know you will come to the knowledge of who you are and those
who do will be comforted by you.
Lord, we pray for those who are in need of your wisdom. We
oftentimes want to do things our own way,
but we ask for those who need your divine revelation to have hearts of
humility to not only hear, but be doers of what you say. You said that to fear
you is the beginning of knowledge, so we ask that all who needs a Word from you
will reverence you with their lives so that they may get revelation from you.
Lord, we pray for our military men and women, first
responders, president and cabinet, and those who are civil servants. We pray
for their protection and that you will cover them during these dangerous times.
We pray for their salvation if they are unsaved and the strength of those who
are. We pray for marriages, children, extended families and loved ones to be
saved as well as friends, co-workers and strangers. We ask that you will help
us to be a light to the lost so that they may find their way to you. Lord,
please forgive us as a nation for dishonoring you and we pray for your soon
return. We ask all of these things in your Son’s mighty name, Jesus, Yeshua
Hamashiach. Amen.
