The Three Angels’ Message
First Angel’s Message
“Then I saw another angel flying high overhead with eternal good news to proclaim to those who live on earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people. He said in a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water’ ” (Revelation 14:6-7).
John witnessed an angel flying in the air and spreading the gospel of Christ to those throughout the earth. This is not a usual event because angels have not normally been the ones to spread the gospel, but humans. Yet this angel was sent to proclaim to the inhabitants of the earth that they should reverence God, who is our Creator, for the judgment had come. Some biblical scholars believe that the reason the angel spread the gospel was that the church had been taken in the rapture. In their view, the church would not be here to do so, which means that the angel was designated to do the job. Yet, would the earth’s inhabitants listen? He would warn them to listen to the Lord instead of the antichrist. The Gospel of Jesus tells of His saving power and of our being sinners saved by His grace. Yet, because He died for our sins and rose on the third day, we can spend eternity with Him.
Unfortunately, so many today lack respect for the things of God. They do not reverence Him and totally disregard the holy things. It is like what took place during Daniel’s time under the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar’s son, Belshazzar. He had no regard for God and misused God’s holy artifacts that had been taken from the temple during Israel’s captivity. However, God pronounced judgment on him by giving him a personal message with His hand. The Bible says: “Belshazzar the king [who was a descendant of Nebuchadnezzar] gave a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking his wine in the presence of the thousand guests. Belshazzar, as he tasted the wine, gave a command to bring in the gold and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. Then they brought in the gold and silver vessels that had been taken out of the temple, the house of God which was in Jerusalem; and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. They drank the wine and praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone. Suddenly the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and began writing opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, and the king saw the part of the hand that did the writing” (Daniel 5:1-5).
King Belshazzar had not paid attention to his father’s humbling experience. Nebuchadnezzar had been made to humble himself before God by becoming a beast of the field when pride entered his heart. Only after he recognized God and gave Him glory, seven years later, was he restored to his former position as King of Babylon. This is like the message that the first angel delivered. The inhabitants of the world were created to give God glory; yet, when we fail to do so, we are out of alignment with our Creator.
Many governments, including the United States, think they are the sole reason for their wealth and prosperity. However, nothing could be further from the truth. God is the only reason the United States has been a great nation. Unfortunately, as the United States is trying to usher God out of government, homes, schools, and finances, the Lord is ushering in judgments upon the land. The protections, sovereignty, wealth, and individual liberties we once enjoyed as a nation are quickly coming to an end. The world is like a frog in a pot that does not realize the heat is being turned up until the lid is put on and it’s too late to jump out.
Judgment is upon the land, as the warning that had been given to Belshazzar, and the handwriting is on the wall. Yet, few have spiritual discernment to understand the closeness of the hour. The Bible says: “But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. Therefore, he sent the hand that wrote the inscription. ‘This is the inscription that was written: mene, mene, tekel, parsin’ ‘Here is what these words mean: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians’ ” (Daniel 5:22-28). Our days as a powerful nation have been numbered and is coming to an end. God has weighed us in the balance, and we have been found wanting. Our nation is no longer the United States of America, but the divided states, and our enemies will one day use it to their advantage.
Every day, violence, riots, war, disease, animal deaths, and droughts are reported in the news domestically and abroad. God is letting us know that He is displeased with the world. Sadly, many choose to ignore the alarms, yet the angels continue to deliver their message.
The Second Angel’s Message
“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication” (Revelation 14:8).
John witnessed the proclamation of the second angel that Babylon the Great had fallen. She had made other nations drink from her adulterous cup. Who is this Babylon that John saw? This Babylon is none other than the United States of America. According to the Jewish Virtual Library and other sources, Christopher Columbus was a Jew who had set sail to find land for other Jews who had been expelled from Spain for failing to convert to Catholicism during the Spanish Inquisition. This part of history is not told in most history books. As we understand God, we know that He has always had a hedge around the Children of Israel, even in their darkest hour. Therefore, it seems that God was leading this expedition for His own purpose. The United States was not formed just to become a great nation. God designated the nation as a home for His people and a way for the gospel to be preached throughout the whole world. The Bible says: “You control human events— you give rulers their power and take it away, and you are the source of wisdom and knowledge” (Daniel 2:21).
Even though the United States has an imperfect historical beginning, God has used this country through missionaries, pastors, teachers, doctors, and others in these professions to help many countries around the world with financial aid, medical assistance, food, religious ministries, and much more. As a result, people from every nation have come to the United States to live in the hopes of having a brighter future.
Unfortunately, the United States has also been a major leader in sin by way of pornography imports and exports, drug trafficking, gambling, genetically modified crops and animals, genocide, toppling governments, and much more. Approximately 60 million abortions have taken place since the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision and counting. Sexual immorality on TV, music, and video games, demonic worship through Free Masonry, Illuminati, Skull and Bones, along with other secret societies, banker greed, dishonest politicians, corrupt evangelicals, in addition to a significant push being led by the government in redefining marriage, are all part of the adultery against God. Not only is the United States the leader of this, but it is also causing other nations to follow its sins and put pressure on those who do not endorse its ungodliness by threatening to deny needed assistance to these impoverished countries. There is no other nation that mirrors Babylon as closely as the United States, given its worldwide influence. In real-time, we are seeing the fall of the once-great country—the United States of America. Some people think the Democrats can save them. Others believe the Republicans can save them. No one other than the Lord can save the United States, but that will only happen IF she turns back to God. The Bible says: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Unfortunately, the United States is on a path of destruction, and as the prophecy in the Word says, Babylon the Great will FALL.
The Third Angel’s Message
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:9-12).
John witnessed the third angel’s message to those who received the mark of the beast on their forehead or in their hand. They would drink of God’s wrath and be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the Lamb and his holy angels. We are in the last days, when end-time events are quickly unfolding into what will be a seemingly total takeover by the devil. He is trying to have a world where he can eliminate the Saints of God at all costs. One of these ways is causing people to take an ungodly mark that will subject them to eternal damnation.
There are many theories as to what this mark of the beast is. Some believe it will be a mandated day of worship, and those who do not observe will be persecuted. Others think that it will be a microchip that everyone will be required to take. The Saints of God must know that whenever there is a system put into place by none other than the antichrist, where you cannot buy or sell unless you have this mark, you know that it is of the devil. Suppose the text is to be taken literally. In that case, this means that should the government mandate any system for the whole world to comply with as a means of survival or acceptance into its One World Government, then we as Christians will know it is of the enemy. The Bible says: “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time” (Daniel 7:25).
The Prophet Daniel, just like John had seen a vision about the time of the antichrist. The mark that the beast will require all to have will be part of this antichrist system. This will involve one world religion, one-world government, and one world currency. This may remind you of the Tower of Babel that the people were building. A system of government to defy God. However, God did not want it then, and he does not want it now. This is why their language was confused, and Jesus will return to destroy all the wicked nations of the world. The Bible says: “At one time, all the people of the world spoke the same language and used the same words. As the people migrated to the east, they found a plain in the land of Babylonia and settled there. They began saying to each other, ‘Let’s make bricks and harden them with fire.” (In this region bricks were used instead of stone, and tar was used for mortar.) Then they said, ‘Come, let’s build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.’ But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. ‘Look!’ he said. ‘The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Come, let’s go down and confuse the people with different languages. Then they won’t be able to understand each other.’ In that way, the Lord scattered them all over the world, and they stopped building the city. That is why the city was called Babel, because that is where the Lord confused the people with different languages. In this way he scattered them all over the world” (Genesis 11:1-9).
God told man to be fruitful and multiply, but He never told them to build a one-world government where they were not to scatter about the earth. Man has always tried to invent ways to defy God’s order of things. However, as we just read in the text above, God makes it clear that He remains in control and that man cannot outwit Him. He sets up kingdoms and tears them down. Everything is in God’s power, and nothing happens unless He allows it.
There are many beliefs about who the antichrist will be. This person has not yet been revealed. However, God will all those who are His to be deceived by this man of sin regardless of the many signs and wonders he does. All we have to do is watch, prepare and be on guard for what the Bible has told us to look out for. Regardless of what type of person or system it falls under, we know that anything that requires you to take it to buy or sell, you are not to accept, whether it comes as a microchip, a medical injection, the enforcement of religion, or otherwise. God will not allow you to be deceived.
“Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above ]every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12).
God does not want anyone to be deceived. If anyone is fooled, it is because they willingly closed their eyes to the truth. Therefore, God will turn them over to their deception for those who choose to believe the lie. However, He will reveal all secret things to those who are saved and follow God’s lead.
Write These Words
“I heard a voice out of Heaven, ‘Write this: Blessed are those who die in the Master from now on; how blessed to die that way!’ ‘Yes,’ says the Spirit, “and blessed rest from their hard, hard work. None of what they’ve done is wasted; God blesses them for it all in the end ” (Revelation 14:13).
John was told to write down words of comfort. God said that those who die in Christ are blessed, for they will no longer have to labor. Whatever deeds they did will follow them. Once a saved person dies, they will have a reward in Heaven once Jesus returns because of their faithfulness. God rewards all who endure to the end with Eternal Life. There will be no more sickness, death, pain, tears, stress, worry, and/or anxiety. It will all cease! The Bible says: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,)since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24). God rewards those who are faithful.
Harvesting the Earth and Trampling the Winepress
“And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle” (Revelation 14:14-17).
John witnessed the Son of Man sitting on a white cloud with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. Another angel came out of the temple and told the Son of Man to take His sickle and reap the harvest, so He swung His sickle over the earth and took the harvest. Another angel came out of the temple and had a sickle too. Jesus is going to separate the righteous from the wicked. There will be a separation because sin cannot enter God's kingdom. This is why Jesus must be the one to do the separating because He reads men’s hearts and minds and will judge them according to what they have done. The wicked will be judged and go to the Abyss, but the righteous will be harvested and go to Heaven.“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:24-30). This gathering will be the glorious day when Jesus comes to get His children to take them back home with Him. The wicked, however, will run in fear and try to hide from the brightness of His coming.
The Winepress
“And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, ‘Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.’ So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs” (Revelation 14:18-20).
John saw another angel come who was in charge of the fire. He came from the altar in Heaven and told the angel who had the sickle to gather the ripe grapes and threw them into the winepress of God’s wrath. They were trampled over, and blood flowed out where it reached up to a horse’s reins. This is letting us know that God is going to utterly destroy the wicked. Not one will get away from the wrath of God. Many people want to focus only on God's love, but there is also another side to God. It is God’s wrath that He wishes for no one to experience. However, due to the sin of the wicked who refused to turn back to Him, they will experience this wrath without mercy. The Bible says: “Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow—so great is their wickedness!” (Joel 3:13).
