Modern Day Pharaoh and America

Exodus 1:8 Eventually, a new king came to power in Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph of what he had done. He said to his people, “Look, the people of Israel now outnumber us and are stronger than we are. We must make a plan to keep them from growing even more. If we don’t, and if war breaks out, they will join our enemies and fight against us. Then they will escape from the country.” (LASB)

          We have a Pharaoh in the land under the name of Barrack Hussein Obama. This Pharaoh is similar to the Pharaoh of old, but he has deceived many into thinking that he would be a tool for change and would help the oppressed when in actually he has oppressed the nation with the intention of its ultimate destruction. His campaign slogan..."Yes we can" did indeed become "Yes we did." However, it was to America's demise. Never before have we had a leader who has single-handedly set to change all aspects of American life and moral culture. Unfortunately, this is the case with this particular president, which is in power due to the judgment that God has pronounced on this nation. 

Let's take a look at the Pharaoh of old...

Pharaoh (Ruler of two lands…The Upper and Lower Egypt)

Pharaoh was both the political and religious ruler of Egypt. He was the High Priest of the Egyptian temples. He controlled the land, made laws, collected taxes, and defended the land against foreigners, controlled trade, and foreign policy. He performed rituals to the gods and built temples to honor them.

Exodus 1:11 So the Egyptians made the Israelites their slaves. They appointed brutal slave drivers over them, hoping to wear them out with crushing labor. They forced them to build the cities of Pithom and Rameses as supply centers for the king. But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more the Israelites multiplied and spread, and the more alarmed the Egyptians became. So the Egyptians worked the people without mercy. They made their lives bitter, forcing them to mix mortar and make bricks and do all the work in the fields. They were ruthless in all their demands. (LASB)

Pharaoh wanted to break the spirit of God’s people. He wanted to keep them from being successful. Pharaoh knew that there was strength in numbers and a nation united is hard to fall. Therefore, he tried to stifle the growth of the Israelites in an attempt to keep them under his control. 

How was Pharaoh able to enslave the Israelites?

a.)  He came to power after another Pharaoh had died. Exodus 1:8 Eventually, a new king came to power in Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph of what he had done…(LASB)

b.)  He was respected as both the religious and political leader. Genesis 40:1-3 Some time later, Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer and chief baker offended their royal master. Pharaoh became angry with these two officials, and he put them in the prison where Joseph was, in the palace of the captain of the guard. (LASB)

c.)   He had control over the land of Egypt and all who was in it both foreign and native. Exodus 5:2 “Is that so? Retorted Pharaoh. “And who is the Lord? Why should I listen to him and let Israel go? I don’t know the Lord, and I will not let Israel go. (LASB)

d.)  He made the laws by which Egyptians and all others were to abide.

Genesis 41:40 You will be in charge of my court, and all my people will take orders from you. Only I, sitting on my throne, will have a rank higher than yours.” (LSAB)

e.)   He controlled the taxes and fees as to the amount and how they were to be paid.  Genesis 42:6 Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt and in charge of selling grain to all the people…(LSAB)

f.)    He was in control of the national trade market. Genesis 41:35 Have them gather all the food produced in the good years that are just ahead and bring it to Pharaoh’s storehouses. Store it away, and guard it so there will be food in the cities. (LSAB)

g.)  He changed the foreign policy for those who were once welcomed in their land. Genesis 47:11 So Joseph assigned the best land of Egypt—the region of Rameses—to his father and his brothers, and he settled them there, just as Pharaoh had commanded.

h.)  He passed a decree for genocide against the Israelites as a means of population control. Exodus 1:15-16 Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.” (LASB)

i.)    He felt inferior to the “male” species for they were the ones to carry on the seed. Exodus 1:22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Throw every newborn Hebrew boy into the Nile River. But you may let the girls live.” (LASB)

j.)    He was indifferent to the sufferings of those he had in bondage and refused to listen to their plea of relief. Exodus 5:4-9 Pharaoh replied, “Moses and Aaron, why are you distracting the people from their tasks? Get back to work! Look, there are many of your people in the land, and you are stopping them from their work.” That same day Pharaoh sent this order to the Egyptian slave drivers and the Israelite foremen: “Do not supply any more straw for making bricks. Make the people get it themselves! But still require them to make the same number of bricks as before. Don’t reduce the quota. They are lazy. That’s why they are crying out, ‘Let us go and offer sacrifices to our God. Load them down with more work. Make them sweat! That will teach them to listen to lies!” (LASB)

Pharaoh had no regard for God or anyone else. Does this sound familiar? However, God gave numerous warnings for Pharaoh to change his ways and release God's people just as America has been warned. Unfortunately, Pharaoh of old didn't change and it doesn't seem like this one will either. Let's take a look at some of the plagues. 

Pharaoh and the Plagues

God always sends warnings prior to destruction.

a.)  Water Turns to Blood

b.) Frogs Leave Water and Cover the Land

c.)   Mosquitoes and gnats cover land

d.) Flies swarm with lands

e.)   Cattle die of plague

f.)   Boils cover man and beast

g.)  Hail destroys crops

h.) Locust destroys remainder of crops

i.)    Thick darkness covers land

j.)    Death to firstborn

 God sent these plagues to give Pharaoh the chance to change and as a sign to the Israelites that He was God. However, Pharaoh did not release them until the death of the son. What will happen to America in order for them to realize that God is indeed in control? Will it be the Death of America? How is the situation in Moses time similar to today's time?

Pharaoh in America (The American Government)

a.)  Obama came to power after Bush. He promised change and a better society. We definitely got change, but not a better society.

b.) Obama is the political leader of the United States, but is also affecting the religious system by enacting laws that challenges the beliefs of many Christians such as providing abortion pills under Obamacare, LGBT laws that are attacking Christian liberties and most recently the passing of same sex marriage, and denial of the USA being a Christian/Jewish country by announcing this to the world.

c.)   Obama is going unilaterally on many decisions that were supposed to be enforced with both Congress and Presidential authority by executive orders.

d.) Obama has made laws and is still writing executive orders for all Americans to obey such as Obamacare, gun legislation, illegal immigration, and Executive Order 13603, which few Americans know about including myself until recently which can enslave ALL Americans.

e.)   Obama had IRS to go after certain groups who did not agree with him.

f.)   Obama Changed foreign policy to allow illegals to come even though many disagree.

g.)  Obama approved abortion rights as a means of population control.

h.) His approval of LGBT sends a message that he is trying to destroy the traditional family.

i.)    He does not care about the hardships that his policies place on America citizens such as tax payers, border patrols, the national debt, etc. 

Does this sound similar to the Pharaoh in Moses' time that oppressed the Israelites? Yes, indeed it does! So what plagues have come to America and what more will come?

 

America’s Plagues and Warnings

a.)  9-11 and World Trade Towers Fall

b.) Ebola and superbugs with no cure

c.)   Wildfires  and droughts in various parts of the country like  California

d.) Major Economic Challenges leading to an upcoming collapse

e.)   Sink Holes across the country

f.)   Earthquakes

g.)  Iran shouting Death to America

h.) Disappearance of Malaysian Jet that was recently found

i.)    Russia threats of War, China, North Korea

j.) Shootings in the streets leading to new strains on race relations

 

Reasons for America’s Judgment and Punishment

a.) Took prayer out of schools

b.) Passed laws legalizing abortions

c.) Started Wars on Fake Intelligence

d.) Profited from People Hooked on Drugs; Allowed into the USA and recently legalized it.

e.) Killed and experimented on its own citizens for the sake of greed.

f.) One of the largest importers, exporters, producers and consumers of porn.

g.) Turning against Israel and trying to force them to divide Jerusalem

h.) Promotion of extra marital affairs and sex in movies and music

i.) Oaths in Secret Societies promoting the Luciferian Agenda

j.) Voting anti-God leaders in office

k.) Church not making a stand for anti-God legislation

l.) Obsession with sports, television, and money over the things of God

m.) Single parent households promoted over 2-parent families

n.) Homosexual Agenda being passed and taught to children

o.) Promotion of Islamic views in schools while Christianity is forced out.

p.) Church compromising Christian standards to be like the world

n.) Feminism has poisoned the ideology that something is wrong if women have traditional roles.

q.) Being gay, transgender and bi-sexual has been praised, while teaching traditional and God ordained values from the Bible is under attack.

r.) Hip Hop Music, Rock, and R&B has taught girls and women to be sexual in order to get attention and attract a man with little to no clothes on, while boys and men are taught to be thugs and gangsters landing them in jail or prison, with std’s, out-of-wedlock babies, all for money, with which they have invested in private shares and/or stocks

s.) Churches are more like social clubs with watered down gospel, rock concerts, cafes, and motivational speaking.

9.) Many pastors have decided to become celebrities rather than minsters of the Gospel teaching and calling souls to repentance.

 We have a lot to repent for as a nation. We have allowed leaders such as Obama to come to office and turn this nation into a nation of ungodliness. We have failed to warn Pharaoh of his ways and therefore, many will be caught up in his web of ungodly slavery. Unfortunately, it will be too late once many people's eyes begin to open. We do not have time on this blog to go into everything, but I pray that your eyes open and understand that a nation without God will fail to be a nation for long.
