SATURDAY
PRAYER (18APR20) – Our Most Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you
this day and offer thanks and praises for all the things that you have done in
our lives. We love, respect, and honor you for there is no other god like you. We
could have been below ground, but you spared us from death as we slept through
the night. We could have been hungry, but you provided us with food on our
tables. We could have been in a padded cell, but you ensured that we were in
our right minds. We could be without any mobility, but you allow for our hands
to wave, our feet to move, our mouths to talk, and our ears to hear. We thank
you, Lord, for all that you have done.
Lord, we seek your forgiveness, and we ask that you would
cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Please remove the darkness that is in our
hearts and show us how we are to be more like you. We ask that you would remove
any fear, anxiety, envy, jealousy, anger, bitterness, revenge, and/or greed in
our hearts and minds. We ask that you would help us to have the mind of Christ
and that all will be well with our souls.
We pray for those who are sick with COVID-19, cancer, depression,
anxiety, and other illnesses who are in need of your healing hands. We ask that
you would not only heal them physically, but take away their sins and heal them
spiritually. We pray for those who are lost and have not acknowledge their need
for you. Please open their eyes so that they will see their need for you. We
pray for those who are having family troubles. We pray for broken families,
marriages, children, and extended loved ones. We ask that you will help them to
see that they are a gift to one another and just as your Word says that we are
a body with many parts, they are to be a family with many units supported by
each other. Please help them to learn the art of communication and to recognize
that when they’re wrong, it’s okay to say, “I’m sorry.” We know that you
require for us to have humble hearts, and so many people lack humility in their
lives. Please change us and help us to operate in humility before you and with
one another.
We pray for your protection over the innocent. Your people
cry out to you to save your little ones. Our hands are limited with what we can
do on our own to protect your innocent ones, but we know that the prayers of
the righteous avails much. Please forgive us for not speaking when we should
have stood for them. We ask that you would change the hearts in this nation to
know that you are a God of life and not death. All lives matter in your eyes.
We pray for our nation. Lord, we know that you cannot and
will not heal our land if we continue in total defiance of you. You allow
things to happen to give us an opportunity to repent and turn from our wicked
ways, but time and time again, we have failed you. Please help those who do not
see their wrong to have a Damascus moment where they will turn away from their
wrong. Please help us as the Church to help lead people to you. Please help us
to be the body that you will come back for without spot or wrinkle. Those of us
who are still in a comatose state, please awaken to the times that we are
living in.
We pray for our government leaders, military, first aid
responders, and medical personnel. We pray for their protection and ask that
you will cover them with your mighty wings. We know that we cannot pray
prophecy away, but we ask for your grace and mercy to be shown even in the
midst of things that must fulfill your Word. Please give us strength, power,
and hope to endure all that may come our way as we await your return. We thank
you Lord. We give you praise, honor, and glory. We love you because you first
loved us. Please fill us with your Spirit and allow for your anointing to overflow
in our lives. Please hear our prayer as it rises as a sweet incense before your
mighty presence. We present our requests to you this day in the matchless name
of Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
