SATURDAY
PRAYER (11APR20) – Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you this day to
give you thanks for the many blessings that you have given to us throughout
this week, month, days, and years. We thank you for the coverage that you have
provided over us because we know that your banner over us is love. We thank you
for sending your Son Jesus to die for our sins. We thank you, Jesus, for paying
the debt for our sins where we can have eternal life. We thank you for making
such a sacrifice that delivered us out of the hands of the evil one. We know
that you did not have to do it, but you did it because of the love that you
have for us. We are so grateful and we honor your Name that is above all other
names.
Lord, we ask that you will forgive us from our sins
individually and as a nation. Please purify us with your blood and cleanse us
from all unrighteousness. We need your forgiveness daily and we ask that you
will help to turn those of us around who are doing things that displease you.
Please forgive us for shedding the blood of innocents. Please forgive us for
taking you out of our homes, schools, and areas of government. Please forgive
us for our silence while the sexual exploitation of children is taking place
in our public libraries, schools, and on our television sets. Please forgive us
for our greed on Wall Street as we have worshiped our golden calves. Please
forgive us of our sins in Hollywood, movies, music, videos, and social media
that has poisoned the minds of so many. Please forgive us for all the murdering
that we do in our city streets. Please forgive us for how we have destroyed the
sanctity of marriage by living immorally. Please forgive us for not preaching and
teaching your unadulterated Word and giving in to compromise. Please forgive us
for our gambling through lottery tickets, casinos, and other bets on races,
sports, etc. Please forgive us for not always consulting you in governmental decisions
that affect other nations. We have so much sin that we have done before you Lord
in public and in private, but we ask that you will forgive us and give us the
heart individually and as a nation to turn towards you.
Lord, we ask that you will be with families who are dealing
with all kinds of issues. We ask that you will be with the children of these
families. We pray for those who are sick and in need of healing. We pray for
the Christians who are being persecuted all around the world. We pray for our servicemen and women to be protected by you. We pray for those who are lost
that they may be found in you. We pray for the missing children who have been
kidnapped by evil pedophiles to be returned alive to their families. We pray
for those people who have lost their jobs, homes, vehicles, insurance, and other
needed essentials during these economically difficult times.
Lord, we pray for unity in the body of Christ. We ask that
you will help us to be on one accord where we truly walk and act as the church.
We ask that your people will know that the church is not the building, but it
is us, and that we are to represent you well. We pray that you will help us to
be the light in a dark world. Please hear the prayers of your people. Please
deliver us from the evil one who aims to steal, kill, and destroy us. We pray
for all of these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
