SATURDAY PRAYER (25APR20)

SATURDAY PRAYER (25APR20) – Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to you this day with much on our hearts and minds. Nevertheless, before we go into asking for anything, we want to give your thanks for all the many blessings that you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for having a roof over our heads, food to eat, clean water to drink, and clothes to wear. We thank you for the bed we are able to lie on at night and the modes of transportation that you have provided for us throughout the day. For those of us who have good health, soundness of mind, and good relationships in our lives, we give thanks, for you are a loving God who blesses us beyond what we deserve.

Lord, we ask that you will forgive us for all our transgressions against you and/or against others. Please give us a mind that is like you and make our hearts pure. Help us to be renewed in your awesomeness and glory where we will love like you intended for us to love one another. We ask that you will help us to be forgiving as you have forgiven us, reconcile where it is possible, and show compassion and empathy towards others as you have shown towards us.

Father God, we ask that you will be with your people who are being persecuted around the world for Christ’s name sake. We ask that you surround them with your wings and encourage them when they feel that they cannot stand any longer. We pray for those who are teaching, preaching, and standing in your truth as evangelists, prophets, teachers, apostles, pastors, missionaries, and watchmen, while being persecuted even amongst those who claim to be in your body. Please help them to maintain their zeal for you and allow hearts to be receptive to the messages that you have given for them to relay. Provide them with safety as they do your will and allow them to flow with your Words through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we pray for those who have lost jobs, homes, loved ones, and all that they have had that was dear to them. Storms, plagues, devastation, and despair have reached many, but we know that you are our Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and you are the God of Restoration. For those who are not saved, please open their hearts to you and forgive their sins. The ones who have suffered financially and materially, please restore what was lost so that they may give you honor and glory. Lord, please heal the brokenhearted who may feel lost due to losing someone they loved, and fill their emptiness with gladness for the time that they had with that person on earth.

Lord, we pray for your innocent ones who are unable to defend themselves. We ask that you would defend those in the womb against the demonic forces who seek to kill, steal, and destroy. We pray against the sex traffickers who seek to take away the innocence of the young for their own diabolical plans. We pray against abuse towards them by their parents, caretakers, and/or others who are supposed to protect and not harm them. We ask that you will deliver and set them free from all that would do them harm.

We pray for your people to have healthy marriages, loving families, and blessed children in their homes. Please allow them to know that their first ministry is to each other, and then, they can be a reflection of you to the world around them. We ask that husbands will lead and love their wives as you have loved the church. We pray that wives will submit to their husbands with love as they follow the lead of their husbands. We ask for children to obey and comply with the instructions of their parents so they may have longevity, which is the one commandment with a promise. We pray for Godly homes so that the world will see a model of how you intended for families to be.

Lord, we REBUKE the spirit of suicide, depression, anxiety, loneliness, bitterness, and abuse that is lingering over some of your people in Jesus' name. May the demons of hell take residence somewhere else and may they have to leave the minds of your people. We know that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. So, we ask that you will liberate your people in JESUS' name.

Lord, we pray for the sick to be healed. We pray for our leaders to lead well. Please give them wisdom and knowledge to align themselves in accordance with your will. Please, protect our servicemen and women, first responders, medical staff, and those who place themselves in harms way to protect us. We ask that you will help those who are lost to turn their hearts to you, for we know that you do not wish for anyone to perish but for all to be saved. Please give us grace, strength, and mercy in doing your will where we may fall short. We pray for all of these things in your Son’s mighty name – Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
