SATURDAY
PRAYER (15FEB20) – Dear Heavenly and Most Gracious Father, we thank
you this day for all your many blessings, countless mercies, and abundant love
that you have shown us. We are grateful to you, for you are the One who has
given us love beyond measure, and even when we were and still are undeserving
of it, you saturate us in it, and for that we say Thank You. Lord, we ask for
your forgiveness of our sins, and we pray that you will wash us so that our stains
will not be seen. We thank you, Jesus, for shedding your blood on the cross so
that we may have eternal life.
Lord, we have a few requests that we desire of you, and we
thank you in advanced for answering our prayers. Your Word says that the prayers
of the righteous avails much, and we are to present to you all kinds of prayers
and petitions. Therefore, we have come to make our requests known before You
for you are the only One who has the power to do far more than we could ever
imagine or do ourselves.
Today, we pray for the family of the deceased 6-year-old
Faye whose life was taken by a wicked individual. We ask that you will comfort
them in their hour of need. We pray for all the children to be under your
protective hands, and those who would seek to do them harm be stopped in their
tracks and be brought to justice. We pray for all the children rather inside and
outside of the womb because they all need your protection where they are
defenseless and unable to look out themselves.
We pray for those who are sick, Lord. We ask that you will
be with the sick children and adults who need you to show up as Jehovah Rophe
(Lord our Healer) in their lives. Lord, please visit every child that is at St.
Judes Hospital to heal and comfort both the children and parents. Please be
will all the sick who are in hospital beds, long-term facilities, rehab
facilities, mental institutions, and other areas where they need your touch. We
ask that you will be with the people in China who are suffering from the Cornavirus.
We ask that you will make it cease and desist. Lord, we pray for those who are
moments from death and have not made things right with you to be receptive to
your salvation.
Lord, we pray for those who are incarcerated. We ask that
you will help the prisoners who do not know you to accept you into their hearts
because you love them no less than those who are free. Please help them to know
that it is in you where there is true liberty despite their physical residence.
We also pray for the children who are in juvenile facilities that they will
turn from their destructive paths, if they are guilty of such, and to know that
you have a better plan for their lives.
Lord we pray for your persecuted children all across the
world. We ask that you will allow them to endure to the end despite those who
would wish to prevent your gospel from being spread. We know that the enemy
seeks to stop them, but your Word will go forth as it did in the book of Acts. Please
give all of us the boldness that it will take to stand for you despite the
threat of imprisonment and/or death.
We pray for those who have unspoken prayers before you. You
know their needs and you are there to meet everyone of them. We ask that you
will reach down and provide for them in the areas of their lives where they
need you the most. We ask that you will help them to see you despite the storms
that they may be traveling through because you are the captain of their ship
and will lead them to your expected end.
We pray for those who are depressed, lonely, downcast, worried,
and in despair. Please help them to know your joy, love, and peace that
surpasses all human understanding. Let them know that in you, they can find
relief and that you did not give them the spirit of fear but of power, love,
and a sound mind. Your Word says that perfect love casts out ALL fear.
Finally, we pray for our service men and women, peace
officers, government officials, President and Vice, along with their families.
We ask that you will give protection to them until their work is done, and we
ask that they will have the wisdom, knowledge, and humility to do the work of
service for people everywhere. Please give them strength, restoration, and rest
so they may not burnout but be able to do all that you have called them to do.
This also includes those who are in ministry and are ministering to your
people. Please help them to continue the race and not give up on you and
others. We thank you Lord for what you are going to do, and we pray for all of
these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
Amen and amen
