SATURDAY PRAYER (08FEB20)

SATURDAY PRAYER (08FEB20) – Our Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you this day so that we may have a little talk with you as our Lord, Savior, Friend and Redeemer. You have shown your faithfulness in our lives and your mercy and grace is everlasting. You are a forever constant and although we may sometimes sway in our emotions with others, your love for us stays the same. We praise, honor, and give you glory for choosing us to be your special children. We would have been eternally lost without you, but we love you for first loving us. We thank you for your gift of salvation and all the countless blessings and miracles that you have bestowed upon us throughout our lifetime.

Father, we ask that whatever sins we have committed against you and/or others that you will forgive us. We pray that you will take the taste of unholiness out of our hearts and craft us with an unending longing for you. We pray to be in righteous standing before you and we long that you will look down on us with favor. We ask that our prayers be a sweet pleasing aroma before you and that our words will never be like a strange fire before your holy presence.

Lord, many people need your help at this very hour, and we ask that your grace and mercy will be shown to us this day. We pray for you to bring an end to the Coronavirus that threatens to destroy millions of lives. We know that man is of a fallen nature and not all things that happen are of your hand but ours due to sin. Nevertheless, we ask for your mercy upon the innocent and even the guilty who may have brought this dreaded disease about. Please spare your people all across the world and send this virus back to the pits from which it came. We ask that you will shield those who are yours and be merciful and gracious to those who are not so that they will see your great love for them.

Lord, we ask for your protection over those who are being persecuted for your name’s sake in places like Nigeria, China, India, and other countries throughout the world. We ask for you to deliver, encourage, provide, and protect them. Even if their work on earth is done, we pray that they will not experience the pain of man, but the love of you in their final hour. Give them hope, faith, love, and perseverance so they may endure to the end.

Lord, we pray for the struggles that many families are encountering right now. Some are going through divorce, separation, custody battles, financial burdens, and so much more. Please give them strength as such that even if they must part ways, they can be agreeable for the sake of all involved – especially the children. We know that these are signs of the last days, but your hands are never too short to make a way out of no way. We also pray for their salvation and for the salvation of all who may be lost to you. Give them direction, peace, and hope that can be found in no one else but you.

We ask that you will be with those who are sick, homeless, on their death beds, and in various facilities of care. We pray that you will heal, restore, and cause peace to be in the mind, body, and souls. We pray that you will cover our military service men and women as well as their families so that even the struggles they face will bring them closer to you. We also ask for protection of our president and vice-president along with their families. Lord, we ask that you will give them direction as to how to lead this nation. May your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Finally, we pray for your soon return and that we will be ready when you come. We know that time is wrapping up, and we look forward to the day when we will see you face-to-face. May you find us without spot or wrinkle. We ask for all of these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen!
