SATURDAY PRAYER – (21SEP19) Dear Heavenly Father, we would like to begin this prayer by
saying “thank you” for allowing us to make it through another week and keeping
us from evil. You are so good to us even in the midst of our trials, and we
love You for it. Lord, we pray that if there is anything that we have done
against you and/or against others knowingly or unknowingly to please forgive us
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord, we as a nation have sinned
against you. We have not honored your ways nor your ordinances as a nation. We
have claimed to know you but have lived contrary to the design that you have
for our lives. You have blessed us more than any nation on earth, but we have
failed you as a nation and have been in the forefront of leading other nations
in sin. We know that we are Babylon and we have just as much, if not more,
corruption, debauchery, and wickedness taking place as the Babylon of old as
well as have surpassed the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have failed you as a
church because we have not always stood up for the innocent, widow, orphan ,
stranger, and taught truth as you taught us to know. We were silent when prayer
was taken out of schools. We were silent when pornography hit our streets.
We
were silent when abortion became the law of the land. We were silent when we
found out that baby parts were being sold like auto parts across our land. We
were silent when government officials failed to honor you and uphold morality.
We were silent while children were being abused by our clergy. We were silent
when leaders committed scandal after scandal while leading your flock. We were
silent when the gay agenda first entered our homes through television and then
became law. We were silent when our law makers took the Ten Commandments out of
our courtrooms. We were silent when children grew up without fathers, which
caused many to live a life of crime. We were silent when the government replaced
God with more laws. We remain silent when clergy teach prosperity instead of
REPENTANCE. Lord, we know that we have not honored you and we could list more
of our sins, but we ask for your forgiveness and please accept those who are
pleading on behalf of our wicked nation.
You have sent us warning after warning, and yet, we have not
turned to you as a nation. You have allowed wildfires, tornadoes, floods,
hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, diseases, failed crops, and more to get our
attention. Unfortunately, not enough of us are listening and paying attention.
We have become a nation who wants your hand but not your face. We want your
blessings without a commitment to serving you. Lord, please forgive us for our wickedness
for we are a wretched nation.
Lord, we know that we do not deserve your mercy and goodness
but you bestows it upon us anyway and we thank you for it. Lord, there are a
lot of people in need of your help right now and we ask that you will take care
of each and every need. We pray for the people in Texas who have lost
everything they owned. We thank you for saving their lives and we ask that you
will restore to them what they lost. We pray for the families who lost loved
ones. We ask that you will be with them and for those who have not turned their
hearts to you, we ask that you lead them to the knowledge of you.
Lord, we pray for broken marriages, misbehaving children,
and those who may be experiencing other family issues. We know that you do not desire
for families to be split . We ask that were restoration is possible, you will mend,
and for those marriages that you do not fix, we pray that each person can leave
in peace.
We pray for the sick, widowed, elderly, and orphans. We ask
that you will be with and comfort them. We pray for the lost and ask that you
will turn their hearts to you. We pray for leveled heads throughout the world’s
governments. We know that there are events which must take place in accordance
to your will, but we pray that the enemy does not be allowed to do anything outside
of your design. We pray that your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We
pray all of these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
