SATURDAY PRAYER (07MAR20) – Dear Heavenly Father,
we thank you, Lord, for all that you have done for us. We thank you for your
mighty goodness, mercy, and grace that you have shown to us on a continuous
basis. Lord, we ask that if we have done anything displeasing in your sight to
forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Lord, you know all about the virus
that is going around the earth. We know that there are things you allow to
bring our attention back to you. Yet, we ask that in your mercy to be gracious
for we know that you are longsuffering and not wanting anyone to be lost. We
pray for your protection over those who are innocent, and we ask for your mercy
towards those who have not come into the acknowledgment of your Son who died
for our sins. We also pray for those who lost loved ones in the recent tornadoes.
Please be with them and grant them peace as well as those who lost everything
that they had.
We pray for those who are sick, in
hospital rooms, on hospice, ventilators, nursing homes, mental health wards,
and other medical facilities including their own homes. We ask that you will be
with them and their families. We ask that you will heal those who are in your
will for this to be done, but if not, we pray that their lives will be ready
for you to receive them into glory. We pray for the families who are their
caretakers and comforters. Please, be with them during their most challenging times. We pray that you will be with the sick children and heal them with the touch of your mighty hand, for they are precious in your sight.
Lord, we pray for those in the medical field, first responders, military personnel, and those in government.
We pray that decisions would be made in accordance to your will and that you
will give them your protection as they serve the people in whatever capacity
they hold. We ask that nothing will be done against your will, and that all
will submit to your authority as our Ruler and King.
We pray for our persecuted brothers
and sisters. We ask for their protection and deliverance if it is in your will.
We pray for their endurance and perseverance. We ask that you will keep them
strong in their faith, and even if they must lose their lives, they would be
encouraged that to die for you is gain.
We pray for the lost, Lord. We ask
that you will awaken the sleeping church who have yet to understand the hour in
which we live, and we pray for us to be a witness to the lost so that they may
be saved. Please give us opportunities to witness to others and help us to be
bold and lovingly uncompromising in giving your truth. We ask that you will
help us to plant the seed as we pray for you to fertilize it and bring your
Holy Spirit rain down on it.
Please help us to grow in our
faith, our witness, and our understanding of Your Word. Please allow your light
to shine on the inside of us so that it overflows in this increasingly dark
world. Thank you for all that you have done and all that you are going to do.
We pray for all of these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach.
Amen.
