SATURDAY PRAYER (14MAR20) – Dear Heavenly Father,
we come before you today with not only our personal concerns, but we pray and
act as intercessors on behalf of others. Before we lay our petitions before
you, we just want to acknowledge and say Thank You for all that you have done
for us. You are a great and awesome Father, so we are grateful for your grace,
mercy, and kindness that you have shown to us. Father, we ask that you will
forgive us from all of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We
pray that we will become more like you and that we will shine before others as
a representative of yours. Although we do not always get things right, we thank
you for your patience in redirecting us along the right course that we are to
follow. May we be just as forgiving, merciful, and gracious to others as you
have been to us.
Lord, we ask that we can touch the
hem of your garment to be made whole in every area of our lives and that of those
we love as well as those we do not know. We pray for those who are being
persecuted in various parts of the world. We ask that you will be with your people
in such a mighty way that their persecutors, prosecutors, and mockers can do
nothing but acknowledge you because of their example as the mighty God that you
are. We pray for those who have been touched rather directly or indirectly from
this COVID-19. We ask that those who have not accepted you into their hearts
will come to you and that this virus will be an alarm as to their need for you.
We pray for those who are your children to be able to speak those things as
though they were and that they will stand on your promises that no disease will
come near their dwelling.
We pray the blood of Jesus over our
homes, families, friends, and loved ones. We pray for the unsaved, unchurched,
and those who are in despair so that they will know that you are the only One
who can save them. They cannot find hope in the government, but you are the Source
of our joy. We ask that you will have Goshens as you did in Egypt all across
this nation and abroad. We pray against the spirit of fear, for we know that you
have given us the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. We rebuke the spirit
of panic. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of depression.
We rebuke the spirit of not having enough. We embrace your ability to provide
and meet every single need that we have.
We pray for you to bring healing to
those within your will and to give mental peace to those with whom physical
healing may not be in your plans. We pray for those who are first responders,
caregivers, physicians, and others who are caring for those who are sick,
dying, and elderly. We ask that you will replenish their weary souls and give
them the grace to carry out all that you have established in their lives as
they serve others.
We pray that you will give your
people direction. We know that you have already established the plans that you
have for us and that nothing catches you by surprise. Therefore, we ask that
for those who are to be geographically relocated, stand still, provide for
others, or help in various areas to be receptive to your voice. We pray that
you will give them wisdom to know and recognize when it is you that is speaking
and to only operate in alignment with your will.
Lord, please help us to have
opportunities to plant a seed in the lives of the unsaved and for them to be
receptive to your salvation. We all stand in need of you right now as a nation,
country, people, and individual. We thank you for hearing our prayers, and we
also thank you in advanced for what you are going to do in our lives and the
lives of others. Please clothe us in your righteousness so that when our work
is done, we will hear you say, “Well done.” We ask for all of these things in
your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
