SATURDAY PRAYER
– (04JAN20) Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord for allowing us
to see this New Year of 2020. Many people did not make it to this year, but we
are grateful for every day that you allow for us to have your breath of life.
We know that it is only you who allows for us to wake up every morning and have
the soundness of mind. We are truly grateful for all that you have done and
will do in our lives. Lord, we ask that you will forgive us individually, as
the body of Christ, and as a nation for the sins that we have committed before
you. We have not served you well collectively, but we ask that we will do so
individually so that we may testify of your goodness to others. We ask that you
will help us with our shortcomings and give us the mind of Christ so that we
may be pleasing in your sight. Lord, we have not all done what you wanted us to
do as the body of Christ in being a representative of the yours. We have failed
in many ways to be the light to the earth for which the lost can find their way
because many of us have become lost ourselves in our desire for compromise.
Please forgive us Lord and help us to be fully committed to you. We pray that
you will also forgive this nation for our many sins that have come up before
you. Our sins as a nation are increasing by the day, but we ask that you will
be merciful to us, although not perfect but your faithful remnant, who truly
seek your face.
Lord, we pray for our service men and women who are serving
at home and abroad to have your protection over them. We ask that you will be with
the families of those who have lost their loved ones as they served our nation.
We pray for Israel and that those who do not know you Lord as their Savior will
come to the knowledge and acceptance of who you are. We pray for our first
responders, peace officers, government officials and our president along with
his family. We know that evil is lurking in all places, so we ask that you will
cover those who need covering, expose those who need exposing, and shield those
who need shielding. We pray for the people of Australia and ask for you to deliver
them out of their trials. We pray for those who are being persecuted around the
world and ask that you will be their Guardian of protection.
We pray for those who are sick with colds, flus, allergies,
asthma, and other health ailments. We pray for those who are in hospitals, nursing
homes, rehab facilities, hospice, mental health, and other medical care
centers, We ask that you will heal, deliver, and set free all of those who are
in need of you to be their Great Physician, Therapist, Counselor, and Caregiver.
Lord, we pray for those who have broken marriages,
challenging children, stressful jobs, difficult families, and/or whatever and
whomever may be causing them to worry, have frustrations, and anxieties. We
pray for those who need financial healing, waiting on economic decisions, and promotions
on the job. We know that you told us not to worry about anything, but we are to
take all things to you in prayer. So, we lift these situations up before you
Lord, so that you can work in areas where we are limited.
We pray for you to help your people to resist the temptations
of the enemy, to get to know your love and YOU as our loving Father, and to
understand their identity in you as they walk in your will by listening to your
voice. We ask that you will give us discernment, direction, and the ability to
wear your whole armor so that we may walk in full authority that you have granted
us. There is so much that we can pray for, but we ask that you will save the
lost and help those who will receive you to be directed towards you so that their
souls will be saved before it’s too late. We give you thanks, honor, and glory
for we know that the prayers of the righteous avails much and you will answer
our requests in accordance to your will. We pray all of these things in your Son’s
name Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
