SATURDAY PRAYER – (24NOV19) Dear Heavenly Father, in
a few days, the nation will claim to celebrate being thankful, but we will see,
as we do every year, that it is only a day to eat, drink, and be merry for many
as they head to the stores and fight over gadgets, shoes, parking spaces, and being
first in the line of many. We pray against such things in advance, but we are
here to offer you the sincerity of our hearts and thank you for all that you
have done not just on one day but each and every day of our lives. Every day
that we open our eyes is a day that we are to be grateful. Every time we are
able to breathe your breath of life is a day to be grateful. Every day that we
are in our sound mind is a day to be grateful. Every time we make a move with
our own attached limbs is a day to be grateful. Every time we have clean water
to drink and fresh food to eat is a day to be grateful. Every time we can take
a shower or enjoy a hot bath is a day to be grateful. Lord, we who are your
children are really grateful.
Lord, we ask that if there is anything that we have done and
may be guilty of doing which is displeasing in your sight to please forgive us,
convict us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness as we repent before you on
this day. Please allow your light to shine on the inside of us and through us where
there is no residue showing of our imperfections, but only your grace and mercy
that was made evident by the blood you shed on the cross for our sins.
Lord, we ask that you will cover our service men and women
who are stationed in all parts of the world. We ask that you will provide a
realm of protection over them and for those who are your servants, please allow
for them to continue being first and foremost a warrior for you, and for those
who have not come into the fold yet, please guide them into your gate for you
are the Good Shepherd. We also pray for our first responders who risk their lives
daily to save and protect others. We ask that you will be their vest of
protection so no harm and danger will come to them before your designated time for
them to depart this earth. We pray for protection over our president, his family,
the vice president, and his family as well. All assassination attempts we pray
for them to be thwarted and that they be covered under your wings.
Lord, we ask that you will provide healing for those who are
in need of your mighty touch. We pray for the restoration of those who are
providing care for their sick family members, friends, and loved ones. We ask that
you will pour back into them what they have poured out spiritually, mentally,
emotionally, and physically. Please bless them for their efforts because many
have gone over and beyond the call of duty to be honorable in your sight by doing
unto others as if they are doing unto you.
We pray that you will give wisdom, direction, and
understanding to those who are seeking you right now. You said that you were
the One who orders our steps and so, we pray for the Holy Spirit to give his gift
of revelation to those who are in the valley of decision so that they will be
able to see which path to take.
We pray over the lives of marriages, children, extended
families, friends, loved ones, coworkers, neighbors, and strangers. We even
pray for our enemies as this is in keeping with your will. We ask for you to
cover, strengthen, appoint, and anoint those to service whom you would have to
edify your kingdom by the telling of their trials in which you turned into
their testimony. We pray for bonds to break free and any demonic soul ties that
are attached to them to be released and freed into the abyss from which they
came. We ask that you will cover your children and help us to endure to the end
so that when you return, we can hear you say, “Well done.” We pray for all of
these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
