SATURDAY PRAYER – (02NOV19)

SATURDAY PRAYER – (02NOV19) Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you this day with many burdens and concerns on our heart. But first, we want to thank you for all the blessings that you have given to us throughout this week. Despite, our trials, worries, temptations, and troubles, we know that you have still had your hand of protection over us and those we love, so we give you thanks and praise your holy Name. We ask that you will forgive us of all the sins that we have committed against you. We know that we fall short many times of your expectations for us, but we ask that you will not hold our short-comings against us and that you will help us when we fail to honor you. Please restore us and help our hearts and minds to become more like you.

Lord, so many people need your help right now and we ask that you will hear all of the petitions that we place in front of you this day and work miracles like only you can do. We come against the demon of suicide. We know that you have given us life and that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. We ask that every young person who is or has had thoughts of suicide that you will rebuke that entity that is coming up against them and cause it to leave and never return. We pray against the spirit of depression. We know that the joy of the Lord is our strength and the devil aims to take control of our minds so that we will not operate in faith but only look at our present circumstances. We come against the spirit of revenge. You have told us in your Word that vengeance is yours, so we pray that anyone who seeks to use their own style of vengeance, that you will prevent the very act from coming forth.

We pray against the spirit of division. The enemy is dividing marriages, dividing families, weaponizing children, and causing chaos on many home fronts. We know that your Word says that such things would happen, but we know that you are a God of mercy, love, and justice so that when it affects your children, you will intervene on their behalf.

We pray against the spirit of loneliness. Many people are feeling all alone as if they have no one to care for them in the world. We know that you are near the brokenhearted and that your love abounds. Please wrap your loving arms around them and when the tears flow, we ask that they be like jewels in your hands for our cares are your opportunities to work miracles in our lives.

We pray against the dark forces that are ruling the governments of the world. We know that your will shall be done across the land, but we pray that nothing is done that does not line itself in your will, and when things take place due to our sins as a nation, we ask that you will cover those who are yours.

We pray against the entities who would prevent the lost from turning to you. We pray against pride, selfishness, greed, lust, covetousness, falsehood, cowardness, witchcraft, and any type of idolatry that attempts to set itself over you to prevent the lost from humbling themselves to you. We ask that you will save them from themselves. We can only plant the seeds, but it is you that produces the harvest.

We pray against the spirit of self-righteousness and hypocrisy that have integrated itself in the body of Christ. We ask that the church will have hearts of humility for you said that the first will be last and the last will be first. None of us are worthy of your goodness, but you said that you did not come for the righteous but to save those who were lost. That means all of us. Therefore, we pray that we will help usher souls to Christ with all due humility and not run them out the door due to our pious attitudes of grander. We praise your name and give you honor and glory in all this we ask. We pray these things in your Son’s name, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
