SATURDAY PRAYER – (16NOV19) Our Most Dear and
Heavenly Father, we are in the season for where many of us celebrate the
Thanksgiving holiday, but we know that we are not limited to just one day of
gratefulness, so we want to say “Thank You” for all that you have done in our
lives. None of us would be here without your Divine Hands on our lives, for we
know that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. We thank you for being
our Provider, Refuge, Deliverer, Redeemer, and Savior. Lord, we ask that you
will forgive us of any areas in our life where we have not represented you
well. Please wash away our sins and make us white as snow.
Today, we pray for those who are on the streets of America
and other parts of the world who do not have shelter, food, clothes, water, and
other basic essentials. Many of us take for granted that we have access to
these things, but Lord, we know that there are those who could only dream of
such conveniences, so we pray that you will stretch out your hand and provide
for them.
We pray for the Christians who are being persecuted all
around the world. We know that you can provide protection for them just as you
did with Daniel when he was thrown into the lions’ den. The Bible tells us that
there will be martyrs, but we still pray for your divine embrace to be around
those whose time is not yet, and for those who are, allow them to see YOU just
as the deacon Stephen did as he was being stoned for your name’s sake.
Lord, we ask for protection for the unborn children who are
being torn limb from limb every day. We pray that people will understand and
know that their lives do matter to you because you are the Author and Creator
of life. We pray for the children who are being sexually exploited, trafficked,
and being made to think that sin is okay because of the worldly upbringing of
Godless parents. We ask that you will turn their parents’ hearts to you and
that the children will not be made to suffer for the choices of their parents.
Lord, we pray for the lost. There are so many who are
traveling down the highway to hell, and they think that the devil has more to
offer them than you. He has fooled them into thinking that his way is the best
way, and he has many avoiding the narrow path that leads to you. We pray that
you will be their GPS and reroute them down the right road that leads to your
eternal salvation.
There are many people who have lost loved ones recently and
over the years where they are still feeling the pain of their loss. Lord, we
ask that you will do what no support group, therapist, friend, or self-help
book can do. We pray that you will heal their broken hearts and fill their emptiness
with your love. Please be their Pillar of Support when they are melancholy and
feel alone. Please allow their guardian angels to minister to them and the Holy
Spirit to speak to their hearts where they can feel filled with your presence.
Some of us have fasted and prayed for certain things in our
lives to manifest, so we pray that you were honored in the process and that
every need or desire will be met in accordance to your will. We pray for those
who need help with their marriages, children, jobs, Godly relationships, finances, health, and
spiritual life. Please meet your children's needs and cover every situation that may be
in lack. Please order our steps and allow our will to align itself with yours. Those doors that you have closed, please help us to stop knocking, but those doors that you open, please allow us to humbly walk through. May we put aside our will and replace it with yours. May we hear your voice and follow accordingly. Whatever is not ordained by you rather it is a relationship, job, or other situation, please give us the strength to accept it and increase our faith in understanding that you know what is best for our lives.
Finally, we ask that you will do a work in and through us so
that souls may be saved. We ask that you will use us as you see fit for your
kingdom. We pray that we will be the examples for others to see and experience
you in all that we do. We ask that your Light shine through us as the world is growing ever so dark. Lord, please save us from the wicked one who seeks to destroy us at every turn. Please never turn your face from us but help us to stay at the hem of your garment -- close to the warmth of your feet. We pray all of these things in your Son’s mighty name, Jesus,
Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.
Immensely powerful and very appropriate for this time of year. Thank you for your beautifully written expression of faith.
