The Second Beast of Revelation (Day 24)

 

The Second Beast  

 

Revelation 13:11-14 ⁽¹¹⁾Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. ⁽¹²⁾It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. ⁽¹³⁾And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. ⁽¹⁴⁾Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. (NIV)

 

 

            John saw a second beast come out of the earth. This meant that it came from the land of the people. It had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. This represents a religious figure who will be very deceptive. The leader will look like he is a servant of God, but is actually taking orders from the devil himself. Matthew 7:15-20 ⁽¹⁵⁾ “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. ⁽¹⁶⁾By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? ⁽¹⁷⁾Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. ⁽¹⁸⁾A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. ⁽¹⁹⁾Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ⁽²⁰⁾Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. (NIV) Jesus gave instructions to look out for these type of people who call themselves servants and leaders of God, but are deceivers for they will lead many astray.

 

            This second beast made the people worship the first beast whose fatal wound had healed. The first beast was the political leader also known as the antichrist and the second beast is its false prophet. They will work together to lead the world astray. It will do great signs and wonders, which will fool most of the world and cause them to worship the first beast. Many may think that they would never worship the antichrist, but many are already worshipping antichrist spirits right now. 1 John 2:18-20 ⁽¹⁸⁾Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. ⁽¹⁹⁾They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. ⁽²⁰⁾But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. (NIV) This text lets us know that there were some people who had been part of the church during that time, but were actually heretics. The same is taking place today. There are many leaders in the church who are preaching another Gospel unauthorized by God. 

 

 

          These leaders are deceiving the masses and leading many astray. They are false prophets full of greed and are spiritually compromised. Isaiah 56:10-11 ⁽¹⁰⁾Israel’s watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep. ⁽¹¹⁾They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own gain. (NIV) It is easy to see how the second beast (false prophet) will be able to deceive the people into worshipping the first beast (antichrist, political ruler) because they will trust the man instead of trusting God as many already do today. 

        The second beast (false prophet) told the people to worship the image of the first beast (antichrist, political leader). The false prophet will tell the world that they must obey the ungodly laws of the antichrist because they have a spiritual obligation to do so. He may use the very Word of God to have people break God’s law. There are pastors who have already been trained by FEMA to teach their congregation to obey authority by misusing Romans 13. Yes, some 26,000 pastors and more have taken this training to indoctrinate the people to already be conditioned for this.

 

 

          Nevertheless, are you supposed to obey the law? Yes!  However, if at any time the law of the land goes against the laws of God, you must NEVER compromise by obeying them. Paul, the writer of Romans did say to obey authority, but even he had to defy that authority when they wanted him to stop preaching the gospel, which eventually led to him becoming a martyr. Acts 5:27-29 ⁽²⁷⁾The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. ⁽²⁸⁾“We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.” ⁽²⁹⁾Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! (NIV)

        There are laws right now challenging the rights of Christians in regards catering to the homosexual agenda. Despite the challenges, many Christians are standing firm in their beliefs even at the risk of losing their jobs, homes, and encountering fines, while at the same time, many churches have chosen to apostatize and follow after a demonic beast system. God will reward those who stand firm to the end.  

 
Revelation 13:15-18 ⁽¹⁵⁾The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. ⁽¹⁶⁾It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, ⁽¹⁷⁾so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. ⁽¹⁸⁾This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666. (NIV)

                  The second beast (false prophet) was given power

from the devil to give life to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak, and for all who refused to worship the image of the first beast (antichrist, political leader) were to be killed. What does worshipping the image mean? It means obedience to ungodly laws. There are many church leaders who are endorsing laws that go against God and therefore, are unknowingly subjecting other Christians who stand up for what’s right to be persecuted. A prime example of this is when the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT) community is challenging churches and Christian businesses. Due to many churches already compromising, there is going to be an even greater attack on those who refuse to bend.           

            The saints in righteous standing will look as if they’re the problem when in actuality, it is the ones who compromised that are the real issue. Therefore, the churches and Christian business owners who defy the government and tell them that they will not comply with ungodly laws will be forced to eventually close down, be fined, and/or go to jail, while the ones that compromised will remain untouched. The “compromised” church will not stand alongside the “uncompromised” church and support what’s in the Word of God, but will join in with the rest of the world and accuse them of doing wrong. Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (NIV) Although this is already taking place, it is going to get even worse when the antichrist and false prophet mentioned here in Revelation join forces worldwide to accomplish their demonic goals.  Everyone in the world will be forced to obtain a mark in their right hand and/or forehead in order to buy or sell that has the name or number of the beast, which is 666.

 

 

 

          Similarly, the Christians in other countries are having this type of experience if they do not convert to Islam. Some are having to pay a tax in order to stay alive, while having what we know to be in English the letter “N” put on their homes like a scarlet letter representing “Nazarene” meaning, follower of Christ. This distinguishes them from the rest of the Muslim population, so ISIS will know who to target. Many believe that the making of an RFID chip is the mark of the beast that we have to be cautious of. This chip, which has already been created and inserted into individuals has the ability to keep all sorts of personal and public information on it. The chip is inserted in the person’s right hand and there is talk that it will go global to eliminate the chances of stolen identities, be a way to use it instead of cash, and to store medical information, etc. Animals seem to have been the genie pigs for this and now some humans have already received it. Should this be mandated, we will know that it is part of the demonic system in an effort to form a New World Order. We must stay alert and have wisdom in regards to these matters according to the Bible.

 

 

          Many believe the Pope is the false prophet, which is correct due to error of religion such as praying to Mary, confession booths, purgatory and more in addition to his influence in the political system around the world. Some believe the Prophet Mohammad and whoever actually is designated to take his place is the false prophet and this is why there is fighting between the Sunni and Shia Muslims, which is also true. The teaching of Islam, through the Quran by the Mohammad, is definitely false as well. There is one major thing to watch for during these end times. Whoever is the one to bring about the New World Order of government leadership and tie in religious control, will definitely be the antichrist and the false prophet that is spoken of in Revelation. Keep a close eye on the Pope and Islam for either one or both is key in these last days to the religious control and Islam could also play a role on the political end as well. The number of the man is 666.
